Master Entrepreneurship and Strategy - Máster en Emprendimiento y Estrategia
This innovative Postgraduate Diploma has been designed for women who are either aiming to become self-employed, owners of businesses or entrepreneurs, or those who are already running their own business and interested in an in-depth programme of study to help them achieve their personal and business potential.
The course involves both practical and theoretical aspects and is informed by current themes in gender and entrepreneurship research. You will explore the contexts, challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship from a gendered perspective, applying theoretical approaches to support the development of your own entrepreneurship practice.
The course team includes lecturers who have run their own successful businesses, and staff with extensive experience in publishing entrepreneurship-related articles in prominent academic journals.
This course has been approved by the UK Sector Skills Body for Enterprise (SFEDI), the UK’s only dedicated awarding organisation for enterprise and entrepreneurship.
Licenciado/Título de Ingeniero/Título de Arquitecto with an average of 6.0-6.9, Aprobado or above
English language qualifications:
GCSE pass in English at Grade C or above
IELTS with an average overall score 6.5 with at least a 5.5 in each component
TOEFL IBT minimum score 88
Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): exams taken from January 2015 – overall score of 176 with at least 162 in each component; exams taken before January 2015 – Grade C and no less than borderline in each skill
Trinity College English Language qualifications: ISE III Pass for postgraduate taught courses and research applications
City and Guild’s IESOL/ISESOL tests at expert and mastery levels (C2 and C1) for the majority of postgraduate programmes
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with a minimum of 67 points in each elemen

Learning and teaching methods
You will be taught through a series of highly interactive lectures, student-led seminars, small group activities and tutorials. Lectures are normally scheduled for weekly afternoon/evening delivery but the specific delivery pattern will be negotiated with each intake of students. In addition to the scheduled sessions, students are also encouraged to engage with the virtual and face-to-face activities of the University’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub, which includes networking and mentoring opportunities.
The course is designed for women interested in running their own businesses. However, entrepreneurial skills and abilities, creativity, innovation and a positive, problem-solving outlook are also highly valued by all employers.
