This major covers a diverse range of areas in the finance industry, from the financial organization, operation and challenges of the economy at large to issues of financial management in firms and financial institutions. This program equips candidates with the analytical foundation and the necessary tools to deal with important practical issues within a finance-centered career.

Candidates who wish to apply for the MBA dual qualification in Switzerland and Barcelona or for the MBA program in Munich, must have 2+ years of professional work experience in addition to the requirements listed above.
Applicants must also meet one of the following:
A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
A satisfactory score on the GMAT or GRE
An interview with the academic dean

The MBA in Global Banking & Finance (90 ECTS) is a one-year, three-term degree. Students complete five to six course modules per term which are combined with seminars, company visits, guest speaker sessions and case studies among others. In order to graduate, students must complete a management research methods module and a dissertation. This program is also available as a two-year, six-term, part-time degree.

The dissertation allows students to combine the skillls and tools acquired throughout their MBA into a final project that uses strategic business thinking for success in the business world. Is it to be turned in within three months of the end of the final term. Students choose their topic with the help of their MBA Dissertation Advisor. Many participants use it to study a new market they want to enter as entrepreneurs; others use it as a tool to research and analyze their existing companies.
