Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university or tertiary institution.
The target students for this MSc are graduates of computer-related Bachelor´s programs and working professionals in industry, government or other institutions. To qualify for admission to the MSc (IT), applicants should have a Bachelor´s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
In this new millennium, Information Technology is the foundation stone for many applications in industry, government and other institutions. To stay ahead professionally, Computer Engineering and Computer Science graduates and professionals working in computer-related fields need to engage in continuous learning and in continuous upgrading of their Information Technology skills. The Master of Science in Information Technology, MSc (IT), is a postgraduate program that has been developed to assist and encourage Bachelor´s graduates to build on their undergraduate knowledge in Information Technology.
The program is deliberately broad-based. We believe that this approach is the most useful way of enhancing students´ knowledge and skills. It will make the graduates of the MSc (IT) more attractive and competitive.
