The Master of Public Administration program is a unique cross-faculty initiative that is exclusively available to professionals who have at least three years of experience working in, or with government.
If your position in the public sector is already established and you are looking to enhance and update your knowledge and vocational expertise, or embark on a change of direction, this globally focused, inter-disciplinary program will foster the contemporary skill set needed to achieve your career goals.
The structure of this degree is perfect for working professionals. All subjects are taught entirely in block mode during evenings and weekends, allowing a level of flexibility rarely offered in similar courses. The Master of Public Administration can also be undertaken both full-time or part-time, meaning students can have more control over their workload and hours.

Our 200-point program allows you the opportunity to enrich your educational experience by undertaking an additional four elective subjects.
50 point program
1.5 years full-time
Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in an area related to public administration with an average equivalent to H2B (70%); and
At least three years of documented relevant professional expertise at a level considered appropriate by the Selection Committee.
200 point program
2 years full-time
Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in an area related to public administration with an average equivalent to H2B (70%); and
At least three years of documented relevant professional expertise at a level considered appropriate by the Committee.
The Master of Public Administration degree usually comprises a 200-point course, however you may be eligible to earn your degree with 150 points depending on previous studies and experience. You can undertake the program full-time.
