Presentación

The Master of Science in Global Business, MGB, provides students with a deep understanding of doing business in a global environment and the unique characteristics of the North American, European, and Asian business context and markets.
Uniquely innovative in design, in one year, the MGB programme will take you through three progressive business modules that correspond to their regional contexts, in three partner universities:
University of Victoria, Canada
NEOMA Business School, Rouen Campus, France
Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea
In the final component, you will apply what you learned through a global business project and internship. By the time you graduate, you will have the solid knowledge and skills to succeed anywhere in the world.

Requisitos

Bac+4, Bachelor degree or equivalent

Programa

Global Business Fundamentals : You begin with this module to first acquire a deep
understanding of both doing business in a global environment and the unique characteristics of
the North American business context. The module integrates international finance, strategy,
marketing, global logistics and supply-chain management with an appreciation of North American
legal, economic and social factors. You progress through a firm’s stages of internationalization:
first, exporter issues; then international firm issues; and lastly, concerns related to multinational
organizations. Courses include:
o The North American Business Context
o International Financial Management
o International Marketing and Global Strategy
o International Logistics and Supply Chain Management

• Global Business in Action : This module, with its orientation towards exploring The European
business context, is intended to prepare the students to apply their knowledge and global
perspective to solving business and industry issues and challenges. It introduces students to the
various stages of consulting methods. Students also receive an overview of the corporate
governance structures, legal and economic systems and the environmental sustainability issues
in the Europeanbased organization with global reach, and will be given the opportunity to provide
consulting advice to the company.

o Consulting Methods and Practice

• Global Business Opportunities : This module provides you with an overview of how industries
such as steel, food processing, ship building, fishery, petroleum and high tech deal with
opportunity recognition and business development in a global setting as well as in an Asian
business context. In addition, this module deals with the analyses and knowledge needed for
successful global new business ventures as well as with Asia’s entrepreneurial environment.
o Industry Analysis and the Asian Business Context
o Business Development and Asia’s Entrepreneurial Environment
• Global Leadership and Cultural Intelligence : This course introduces students to the various
dimensions of culture and cross-cultural leadership and management.

• Language Skills (All the students start Chinese Language).

• Global Business Experience: a 3 months internship. Students must complete at least 300
hours of work with an organization that has an international component linking two or more
regions of the world, provided that it is not the student’s «home» region or country.

• Global Business Project: a consulting report. During the Global Business Project, you
work/maintain a consulting/client relationship with a corporate sponsor. Your team examines a
problem of current interest to the sponsor that is consistent with the international nature and
goals of the program and prepares detailed written analyses and recommendations.
