    Presentación

    Studying the MSc Nursing programme will enable graduate students to practice effectively within a professional values base in a variety of health and social care settings: emphasising compassion, communication and dignity in care. You’ll gain an advanced understanding, knowledge and the skills required in becoming a first level qualified nurse with a sound portfolio of clinical and interpersonal skills, preparing you for your preferred career pathway.


    Requisitos

    On entry to the programme, all applicants must meet the Nursing & Midwifery Council requirements for literacy, numeracy, good health & good character. Applicants will be selected based upon the following:

    Assessment at Course Interview
    Occupational Health Medical Screening
    Disclosure & Barring Service criminal background check (previously known as CRB)
    Satisfactory Reference, indicating suitability for the course

    In addition to the above selection criteria, all candidates must demonstrate achievement of the academic entry requirements, as follows:

    1st Degree (2:2 or above)
    GCSE Mathematics (Grade C or above)
    GCSE English (Grade C or above)
    Settled Residency Status, for three years or more prior to commencement of the course

    Module 2: Foundations of Adult Nursing
    Practice: 2 x 9 week practice placements

    Year 2
    Module 3: Developing and applying clinical practice in Adult Nursing
    Module 4: Evidence for Practice
    Practice: 2 x 10 week practice placements

    Year 3
    Module 5: Developing the Autonomous Practitioner
    Module 6: Dissertation
    Practice: 1 x 10 week & 1 x 12 week practice placements

    MENTAL HEALTH NURSING FIELD

    Year 1
