Master Applied Biotechnology - Máster en Biotecnología Aplicada
To be admitted to the Master in Biotechnology students must possess a Bachelor Degree in Experimental or Health Science (Graduates in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or other related degrees), and be interested in guiding their training to specialization in biotechnology. If any other Spanish or foreign graduate student submit application for admission, training and previous studies will be considered.
Also, since lessons are taught in English and Spanish, proficiency in English language (B2 or equivalent level) must be proved.
As a condition of access to the Master, the applicant must provide two letters of recommendayion.

Master’s Thesis Project
(*) Have to take two electives. It could be choose an optional subject of the Master´s Degree in Molecular
Biomedicine instead of one of them.
According to the agreements of the Committee on Postgraduate Studies at UAM, those elective
subjects having less than five students enrolled, may not be taught. Involved students will be advised
for relocation and enrollment in other subjects.
The offer of optional subjects could suffer minor changes before the start of lessons for reasons of
adjustments in Master’s teaching organization, in which case, it will be properly announced.
