The MA in Arts Management at Bath Spa University has been developed to take account of the significant changes taking place in the arts and across the creative industries, and we have worked in close collaboration with our sector partners to create a course that is appropriate and adaptive to this changing and challenging environment. Their direct input into the design and delivery of the course is central to its fundamental aim of expanding your theoretical understanding and professional knowledge through hands-on experience and work-based learning.
Applicants will normally have a good first degree (2.1 or above) in any academic subject. Applicants without a first degree may be considered if they can demonstrate considerable relevant experience; they may be asked to attend an interview.
If English is not your first language then you will need to provide evidence of proficiency in written and spoken English.

Placement Project or Research Project - (option module, 60 credits)
Heritage, Museums and Arts Management: an international perspective - (option module, 30 credits)
On this course you are assessed by a variety of assessment methods that may include some or all of the following across the various modules on the course:
Reports on work-based assignments
Research project reports
Reflective logs of evidence
Proposal papers for projects, funding or events, business plans, or strategy documents
Project progress reports
