Máster en Generación Eléctrica. Promoción, Tecnología y Explotación
This course provides an introduction to the role of geology in the mining industry and requires no prior technical knowledge. It is taught part-time using online resources, but students must also attend two five-day field sessions in Kalgoorlie.
The course will be of particular interest to graduates whose work brings them in contact with the mining and petroleum industries and who would benefit from a greater understanding of how mineral and energy deposits are found and evaluated. Topics include geological terminology, descriptions of ore bodies, exploration techniques including geophysics and geochemistry, as well as drilling and resource estimation techniques.
