Applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree, must instead have significant relevant work experience. In these cases the admissions tutor will assess the appropriateness of this experience in relation to the programme.
Applicants may also be asked to attend an interview.
Applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check (previously known as a Criminal Records Bureau, or CRB, Check). International students will also need this, or an approved University equivalent.
International applicants - English language requirements: Students are required to have a minimum of IELTS 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in all domains, or a University approved equivalent, prior to starting the programme.
The aim of this programme is to equip students with the knowledge of the importance of health in early childhood for future national health, wellbeing and growth. An understanding of the importance of child health and the many factors that affect it is therefore relevant to all those working directly with children and in wider policy, governance and research development.
