The Graduate Certificate in Art provides for pathways for both those with backgrounds in art and those who wish to enter fine arts practice from other backgrounds. Graduates of the Graduate Certificate in Art have enhanced skills and understanding and can either complete a Master of Art or work as fine arts professionals.
Students who are approved to enter the GradCertArt requiring the completion of 24 UOC over 0.5 year full time or 1 year part time, must complete:
ADAD9113 Communication Skills (6 UOC)
SART9001 Studio Concepts and Practices (6 UOC)
SAHT9138 Art in the 21st Century or SAHT9204 Contemporary Creative Practices: Methods
One course (6 UOC) from approved Studio Specialisations
