Presentación

Our MA Film & Television Production focuses on contemporary factual UK TV and digital media content production and is aimed at those seeking a career as a producer/director in TV or in the broader media. This could include traditional, experimental and creative documentary, films for education, training, public relations, current affairs, marketing, and campaigning.

The course provides you with an in-depth knowledge of the factual medium, whilst nurturing your creative and technical skills. It explores the dynamics of the industry, and what it takes to succeed in a constant cycle of change.

It will offer you a broad and intensively practical foundation in professional screen-based production, supported by a strong critical and contextual framework. It is aimed at anyone with a solid educational background and a passion to succeed in the art and craft of screen production.

Requisitos

A good honours degree, (or equivalent), normally in a related subject. Applicants with professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University

In addition to teaching time on-campus, all courses require intensive self-guided learning, research or private study and there may also be optional training, seminars, visits, lectures or master classes to attend.

Assessment
Assessment is through a mix of projects, written analyses and reflections, presentations and the final dissertation.

This core staff team is supported in the teaching of this course by a wide range of industry specialists.
